My name is Derek Orthner, and I am a musician from Edmonton, Canada. I’ve been enthralled by music since I was a child, and over time I’ve had it envelope my life more and more. I stay active in the Edmonton metal and punk scenes by not only playing in bands, but by doing audio work for my friends (namely recording and mixing), and putting on shows for touring bands. My goal with this website is to promote not only my own musical endeavors, but to talk about the many great artists I’ve encountered over the years across Canada and the United States.
